Slipknot in Times Square
During release week of their 7th studio album ‘The End, So Far’, Slipknot was featured on Times Square’s anamorphic billboard on the corner of W 47th St & 7th Ave. Using a self-calculated approximate vantage point from behind the TKTS Stairs, I was able to create a custom model in Blender that made the Slipknot logo appear to jump off the screen to pedestrians on the street.
Modeled, rigged, rendered, and delivered in a 48 hour window.
